For our client, a global Automotive company, I am looking for candidates for the position of SCADA/MES Engineer.
SCADA / MES Engineer

Our SCADA/MES engineer will be responsible for:
system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution, development and change management of the plant SCADA and MES systems
connecting computers with the equipment for remote controling
supporting systems via remote computer access and providing support to on-site operations
We expect you to have:
- knowledge of automation, Siemens PLC - Basic knowledge - (programming and usage of Siemens TIA Portal is an advantage)
- basic knowledge of SCADA and MES
- good knowledge of Databases (SQL, Postgree, MongoDB...)
- knowledge of the JSON format and its use
- knowledge and proficiency of MS Windows based computers and MS Office applications
Our ideal SCADA/MES Engineer has:
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Power Analysis, or other degree with relevant experience
- 3+ years of information technology related working experience, and 2+ years of Implementation experience in MES & SCADA
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone, with multiple teams consisting of operational staff, client managers, vendors, and contractors via on site presence, telephone, and email.
- good communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
