Early stages of the Clients next Software Platform evolution development for new Fully Networked Vehicle (FNV) Electrical Architecture. Project is focused on creation of the modern Software Defined Vehicle digital infrastructure. Target Software Platform will operate in variety of the environments and is critical to:
Expand the use of industry adopted APIs
Support high velocity application development
Enable next generation vehicle applications
Luxoft will focus on providing core parts for Automotive Middleware around AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive) including: networking, configuration, security, diagnostics, etc. Additionally Luxoft will participate in development of components for virtual environment. This virtual environment will provide support of the CI activities including: automated builds, virtual ECUs/Machines and automated testing support.
Project management maturity must reach ASPICE level 3. It requires establishing of the transparent project execution monitoring and control. Each participant will be responsible for providing evidences of systematic and significant achievement of the defined process attributes.
In this position you will be responsible for helping the FNV work streamlining, shaping the vision of the architecture and designs, assist in development and software verification process.
As a DevOps you will be responsible to setup, configure and maintain the Continuous Integration- and software delivery systems infrastructure.
You will be working in close co-operation with development team(s) and support their work by focusing on the building and testing environments. In your role you will be able to contribute to the development of CI and CD systems and provide an integral part of what make the whole team produce high-quality software with little manual overhead.
Also, the role considers identifying and solving problems which required analysis by adopting existing procedures, techniques and methods. Actively contributing to improvements and changes. DevOps principles and application
experienced with configuring, building and installing embedded Linux systems
familiar with embedded systems and Linux kernel/driver development
familiarity with Yocto project
experience working in Yocto Linux environment
experienced with Linux kernel development including kernel patches
experienced creating recipes and layers for custom BSPs
know how to create bb.append and include files
know how to troubleshoot and fix recipe failures and build failures
experienced with Git
experience integrating Yocto build settings with CI tool like Jenkins.
Scripting ex. Python, Ruby, Shell or similar
CI systems like Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
Software code and artifact repositories: GitHub, BitBucket, Nexus, Artifactory, Private Docker Registries
Virtualization and Containerization: VMware, Citrix Farms, Virtual box, docker, Kubernetes , docker-compose

Experience 2+ years on the role, using YOCTO project
Knowledge of Release Process, Baseline and Branch Instruction, Backup Guideline
