Project Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified and talented technologist to join us as a senior member of our Network Engineering team. The team is responsible for the architecture, design, administration and support of our global network infrastructure.
Application is a multi-manager platform that invests its capital with Internal and Partner portfolio managers, primarily on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis, across quantitative, fundamental equity and tactical trading strategies. We have created a unique structure to provide global portfolio managers with autonomy, flexibility and support to best enable them to maximize the value of their businesses.
Over the last 30 years, our client has successfully capitalized on inefficiencies and opportunities within the equity markets. We have developed and invested heavily in proprietary technology, infrastructure and risk analytics. Clients portfolio exposure has expanded across the Americas, Europe and Asia as well as multiple asset classes and products.
Responsibilities
What you need:
- At minimum, 5 years of experience in a senior network engineering role focusing on enterprise network design and administration
- Experience with Cisco and Arista devices
- Experience with VXLan
- Experience with EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP Routing protocols
- Experience with low-latency networking
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Knowledge of
o AWS
o Network Design and Architecture
o Multicast
o PTP
We’d love if you had:
- CCNP or CCIE
- Experience with Azure or GCP
- Financial Services experience
- Experience with Corvil
- Experience with Citrix Netscaler
- Experience with Market Data distribution
- Experience with scripting (Perl, Ruby, Bash, Python)
Skills
